Temporary Nanny role for 2 children near Shipston on Stour

A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a warm and welcoming family in a quaint
Cotswolds village near Shipston-on-Stour. The family are seeking a nanny who can work
confidently and collaboratively with the mother whilst also happy to be in sole charge, sharing the children’s daily routines
and taking a ‘divide and conquer’ approach when needed.
While the eldest son is at school, the nanny will focus on the family’s two-year-old
daughter, supporting her through an age-appropriate routine including play dates,
walks, local outings, classes and creative activities at home.
Classic nanny duties will be required, such as maintaining the organisation of the
children’s bedrooms, bathroom and playroom, along with managing their laundry and
belongings. A nanny who enjoys cooking and feels at home in the countryside would be
especially valued.
The five-year-old boy loves football, music, horse riding, cycling and scooting around
the village. His younger sister enjoys puzzles, bouncing on the trampoline, hide and
seek, small world play and arts and crafts.
Babysitting will be available by prior arrangement. The family also hold a Soho
Farmhouse membership, offering the nanny and children a variety of enjoyable outings
and activities during school holidays. Strong communication skills and a cooperative
working style with the mother are essential.
Location of the job: Near Shipston on Stour
Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience as a nanny in a similar role
Hours of work: 8 hours a day with flexibility on start time, finishing later on some days
Days required: Monday – Thursday
Driving required: Yes, own car essential
Job Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £22gross per hour
