An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, patient and positive Nanny PA in Somerset.
This friendly and busy family are looking for someone who likes variety in a role, who is understanding and has some knowledge or experience of SEN (although finding the right person is the priority). The role is part childcare and part PA. The childcare is 16 hours per week, Monday-Thursday – school pick ups, taking to afterschool activities, engaging with children at home, supporting with any homework, reading, preparing tea for them and supporting bath and bed time.
Both children are at school full time, the youngest at the local school and the eldest has transport to and from school provided. The eldest is autistic and is non verbal but is a loving and joyful boy who loves to be outdoors in all weathers, horse riding and swimming. The 5 year old girl is outgoing and caring. She enjoys reading, building, drama and music, drawing and baking. The parents ethos is supportive, gentle with boundaries. They work a lot on emotions and processing them with strategies but they are values based and promote kindness, care, joy and connection.
The PA part of the role is 8 hours per week and this will include running their Airbnb (online bookings, coordinating cleaning and repairs, supplies, guest enquiries etc…), dog walking and household help (laundry, cooking etc) plus popping to the shops and running any errands. It would be great to find someone who has experience in a similar role and who is super organised.
