A friendly and professional family of four in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire is looking for an experienced, reliable housekeeper to help keep their home running smoothly. They are an active family, enjoying time in their garden, cycling and arts and crafts. The children are aged six and three. They also have a small friendly dog. You will be working alongside Mum in the home.
The family live in a modern new-build home, ideally located close to Beaconsfield new town.
Working hours:
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• 5 hours each day, preferably afternoons (15 hours/week)
Household responsibilities will include:
• General tidying and organising around the home
• Cleaning all rooms to a high standard
• Sweeping the patio area and dusting down the outside furniture
• Family laundry (clothes and bedding) and ironing
• Changing beds regularly
• Putting away household shopping
• Running errands (e.g., dry cleaning, post office, etc)
There is use of a duty car if required, or if using your own car, duty mileage will be reimbursed.
Although this is primarily a housekeeping role, someone who has a love of children and would enjoy playing the odd game or two would be a wonderful addition. There could be additional paid hours for overtime to include babysitting, which would be mutually agreed upon.
The family is hoping to find someone warm, trustworthy, and kind – someone who enjoys being around children and will bring a positive, supportive presence to their home.
