A wonderful sole charge, three day live out nanny role has become available in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire. The role could also work as a four day position, if preferred – the salary and times would be adjusted for this option.
You will be looking after two fabulous children: a girl aged eight and her little brother aged six. The children are active and happy, with the little girl enjoying ballet, arts and crafts and drama, while her brother likes to spend time playing outdoors, Lego, and other games.
This family is looking for a cheerful and friendly nanny who would like to have plenty of fun – along with providing lots of love and support.
The children go to school each day. During term time (34 weeks a year) you will be required to work on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 12.30-18.30 (18 hours/week). Before you collect the children from school, you will have time to help keep them organised – helping with their laundry, keeping their rooms tidy, ensuring they have everything they need for the day ahead (uniform, sports kit, etc). You will oversee any homework.
In the school holidays (18 weeks a year) the hours will increase to 07.30-18.30 each day (33 hours/week). In the school holidays, when there will be more time, the family is happy for you to take the children on fun outings and activities, enjoying wonderful experiences, keeping them safe and happy at all times.
You will be paid evenly across the year. There is also the possibility of ad hoc babysitting. This will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
You will provide the children with healthy and nutritious meals (home cooked as often as possible). Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc. The family has a weekly cleaner.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
If this role sounds like something you would enjoy and you would like to work alongside this warm and friendly family, please apply below.
