3-4 day SEN nanny, September start
A kind, experienced and reliable nanny is being sought by a welcoming and loving family based in Great Chishill. Home is a large converted barn with a lovely amount of outdoor space. They have two children – a boy who is 9 and a little girl who is 4. The eldest child is autistic and attends a local specialist school- a taxi picks him up and drops him home. Ideally, the family would love to find a nanny who has experience – whether this be indirect or direct – with children who have additional needs. Their son is a lovely, intelligent boy but can find communication tricky. Someone who can appreciate this and show kindness and patience would be appreciated. He loves bikes, crafting and screens.
Their daughter is a bubbly, loving child without any apparent special needs and attends the local primary school which is a 5 minute drive away so it’s important that the nanny is a safe and confident driver with their own car.
Ideally the nanny would work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday though there could be scope to work less if needed, though Tuesday would always be required as mum and dad are based in London that day. Working hours would be 3-8pm on a Tuesday and 1-6pm for all the other days (times negotiable). A term time nanny is preferred but the family could be open to offering some hours during the holidays for the right nanny.
Some light housekeeping would be required when the children are not home – laundry, cooking prep, tidying etc.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
term time – Tuesday 3-8pm, all other days would be 1-6pm / 20hrs per week (less could be offered and equally holiday hours could be negotiated too)
Driving: Yes essential with own car

Job Start Date: September 25 -long term
Pay: £25 gross per hour/up to £19,500 gross per annum (if all 4days are worked)
