A fantastic opportunity has arisen near Hadleigh, Suffolk, for an experienced and reliable Nanny Housekeeper to join a welcoming family and care for their two children, aged 4 and 7.
The ideal nanny will be nurturing, proactive, and confident in both childcare and household responsibilities. They should have prior experience working with children and take pride in delivering the highest standard of care. This position would suit someone who enjoys supporting busy family life, creating a calm and well-organised home environment. The family are seeking someone who will truly become part of the family and form a lasting, trusted bond with the children.
The Nanny duties will include collecting the children from a local school, as well as supporting the children’s after-school routine. This includes preparing nutritious snacks, facilitating engaging play, and assisting with mealtimes and bedtime. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote the children’s development and well-being.
In addition to childcare, the role will require you to help manage the home in a welcoming environment. The family is seeking an all-rounder who is organised, trustworthy, and a pleasure to be around. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and a self-starter, able to take the initiative and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. The role includes a variety of housekeeping duties, including bedmaking, wardrobe management, laundry (including ironing), and other essential tasks to keep the house running smoothly.
You must be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Mileage for duties will be reimbursed.

Hours of work: 3pm – 8pm term time.
10:00 am – 3:00 pm (school half term holidays, when children are not at camp; to be agreed in advance)
Additional hours: Occasional overnight responsibilities.
Days required: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with some flexibility available for the right candidate.

Driving required: Yes
Job Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £19.00 Gross per hour, £14,820.00 Gross per annum.
