A warm and welcoming family is seeking a kind-hearted, proactive, and experienced nanny to care for their two young children – an older boy with a passion for reading, gardening, and cooking, and his joyful, curious younger sister, who is crawling confidently and always eager to learn from her big brother. The children enjoy outdoor activities and are currently creating a vegetable patch together, with the boy also collecting flowers weekly from their large garden. The family embraces the Montessori and RIE philosophies, placing great importance on fostering independence, setting clear boundaries, and communicating with empathy and respect.
The ideal nanny will be genuinely passionate about working with children and confident in designing developmentally appropriate, engaging activities that nurture creativity and curiosity. Duties include full physical, emotional and social care, preparing nutritious meals, maintaining a tidy environment for the children, and supporting the family’s values and routines. The role will primarily be sole charge, with some shared care for the youngest, as the mother is currently exclusively breastfeeding.
The children enjoy their forest school sessions, as well as local music and swimming classes which support their rich and varied weekly rhythm for the children.
Location of the job: Bromyard, Herefordshire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny required

Hours of work: 7am – 7pm
Days required: Monday – Friday
Live in or Live out available: live-in role with separate, private accommodation provided, including a kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom
Driving required: Yes

Pay: £50,000 gross per annum
