Full time live in or out Housekeeper Great Shefford Berkshire

This fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced live in or out full-time housekeeper to work for a busy family in Great Shefford in Berkshire, taking care of their large country home . This role involves all aspects of housekeeping, deep cleaning, bedmaking/ changing , all laundry ( an understanding of washing fine fabrics such a silk and cashmere is important) and also includes ironing and other tasks that keep the house running smoothly . Someone pro-active and friendly, with a knowledge of caring for antiques and fine surfaces and floors would be perfect for this position. The family have young children and dogs, so it’s a busy home and role is to start at the end of April, the days required are Monday-Friday and the hours are 40 hours a week, 7.30am-3.30pm or 8am-4pm, they can be flexible for the right person. They also have an additional cleaner who comes in 3 days a week to assist so the right Housekeeper needs to be happy and comfortable working with other staff in the home. Salary is circa £35,000 gross per annum to £40,000 depending on experience and this family can also offer a separate 2 or 3 bedroom cottage with the role if required.
