Nanny Jobs Skyrocket

The number of Nanny Jobs on our books has reached a near record number in the past 3 months, since the lifting of the COVID restrictions.

According to the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC)’s latest Jobs Recovery Tracker, in the week of 2-8 August, there were a total of 1.65 million active job adverts in the UK. This being the second highest weekly figure since December 2020.

Now, more than ever that the government needs to support our sector with an effective long-term plan for nanny regulation and subsidised in-home childcare provided by Nannies. So how do you hire the right Nanny in a Nannies market?

• At the interview outline future pay rises, bonuses, and benefits. Be the best version of yourself – ensure you have tidied up your home and made it welcoming.
• Once offers have been made and accepted send the signed employment contract immediately.
