A fabulous opportunity has become available for a four or five day live out nanny position in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. The family live in a beautiful home with a large garden, within walking distance of the town centre and a fantastic playground.
You will be working with a friendly and professional family, taking care of their son, who is aged one year.
Mum is coming to the end of her maternity leave and plans to return to work in July or August. The baby is in a good routine, which they would like to continue. This family is looking for an organised, experienced and active nanny who would like to become part of their family.
This will be a sole charge role, although Mum and Dad occasionally work from home.
The hours will likely be 08.00-19.00 Monday-Thursday (44 hours/week), if Mum can negotiate returning to work four days rather than five. However, there is a possibility that 09.00-17.00 on Friday will also be required bringing the hours up to 52/week. This will be confirmed well in advance of the start date in July/August. There is also the possibility of ad hoc additional hours for babysitting. These hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their son to learn and play in a balanced way, helping him to reach his developmental milestones. He enjoys indoor activities such as reading stories, singing songs and playing games. The parents would also be happy for you to take him to fun and educational activities and groups, such as soft play, music group and story time at the library, as well as trips to the park and meeting up with friends to help him to socialise.
As well as general care of the baby, the role will include nursery duties (taking care of his laundry, ensuring his bedroom and playroom are organised and tidy, keeping the kitchen tidy, etc). You will also be responsible for providing him with healthy and nutritious meals, homemade as often as possible. Knowledge of weaning and potty training is essential.
The family also has a housekeeper.
You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.

Pay: Four days – £38,896 gross per annum / Five days – £45,968 gross per annum
