This lovely family are looking for a kind, patient, engaging and proactive nanny to join their family. They have two well behaved boys aged 6 and 3 years, and a young baby girl. Mum will be at home, so this position will be a shared care role. Although this is likely to evolve to a mixture of both shared care and some sole charge. This is a permanent live out position. However, for the right candidate there may be the option to live in.
During the term time the nanny will be needed around 30 hours per week, normally between the hours of 7am to 7pm. This will be a mixture of mornings and afternoons, however some flexibility will be required for the occasional evening babysitting. Once or twice a month the family require Saturday cover. On this week, the nanny will be given a weekday off in lieu.
The family live in a picturesque village, with a friendly, local community surrounded by beautiful countryside. The young boys’ school and nursery are a short 20 minute walk away.
The boys enjoy cycling, football, swimming, lego/toys, drawing and making food. They like being active and outdoors. A positive nanny, who can use their initiative would be an excellent match.
The family are keen to find someone who has an interest in child development and the ‘growth mindset’ approach. Giving the children responsibility, encouraging them to have a go and learn from experiences. The family are quite relaxed, and communication is key.
Duties will include keeping the children’s areas tidy, children’s laundry and preparing/cooking healthy meals. The family have a cleaner.
They are looking for a nanny who is fun, engaging and motivated. As well as someone who can also be patient, with emotional intelligence and maturity.
